Agathi Keerai Soup in Tamil:
Spinach – some amount
Tomatoes – 3
Onion – 2
Coriander – small amount
Pepper – a spoon
Maida flour – 3 tbsp
Butter – 50 g
Recipe
- First clean the spinach, put it in a liter of water, boil it and drain the juice.
- Then melt the butter in a frying pan, add the chopped onion and tomato, stir fry, mix with the pepper and add to the drained lettuce juice.
- Next, melt a little butter in a wide-mouthed bowl, sprinkle with maida flour, stir until red, add the already prepared juice, add salt and bring to a boil for five minutes.
- This soup is used as an excellent medicine for many ailments like bile dizziness, visual impairment, kidney problem, etc.
Agathi spinach should definitely be included in the diet twice a month as long as the adults are at home. Most people do not like the taste of bitter spinach. But bitter taste is definitely needed along with many other flavors to provide physical health. There are two types of Agathi spinach, Agathi with white flowers and Agathi with red flowers.
